Welcome to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.2) accio_hd_fics, following in the shining footsteps of accio_rs_fics. This is a ficsearch community, designed to help you find That Harry/Draco Fic, whatever it may be. It can be a search for a specific fic, or it can be a more general "I'm in the mood for Veela!Fics" type search.
Simply post with your requirements ("Vampire!Fics, plzkthx", or "You know that one where Harry and Draco get measles and go into quarantine..."), tag your search appropriately and wait for the results.

First and foremost: Play nice! We know how frustrating fic searches can become but that's no reason to get mean. Multiple offences could lead to your membership being pulled.
Be polite! Don't put down fics or kinks - remember we all like what we like and rudeness is never necessary.
Say please and thank you! If someone has taken the time to answer your search and help you out, then please reply and say thank you to them. This will also let commenters know if you have found the fic you were looking for in a specific search.
Don't forget, Google is a fanfiction God. If you are looking for alternate links to a fic, or a link to a fic you know the name and/or author of, please try Google first. A lot of times if you don't find it with Google then it has already been taken offline so keep that in mind when you make your request here. Also check the author tags and the *do not request tag; we might not be able to help you out of respect to the authors.
If it's been over a week and your specific search is still unfound, please use the - ss: unfound tag so members can easily find your post and help you out in the future. And if you're not sure how to tag your post don't worry about it, a member or mod will take care of it for you.
Reasons your post might have been deleted:
- You asked for a fic that's not Harry/Draco. We're strictly H/D, says so in the community name.
- You asked for a fic from the *do not request tag. Some authors are very adamant about their fan works not getting passed around, the authors from those posts came forward and contacted the community.
- You didn't post a search. If your post doesn't have a search, it is considered spam.
- Your post had advertisements in it. (Links to places that have nothing to do with your search.) This is viewed by the mods and other members as spam. Please try again without the ads.
- You posted a fic or a rec. This is a search community, fic and recs can be sent to harrydraco, harry_draco, or harrydraco_recs.
- Your post (or comment in some cases) had links to porn sites. That's not was this community is about. |
